We are looking for a versatile Process Engineer who excels in a “hands-on” environment. You will be responsible for taking R&D concepts and turning them into physical prototype units. You won’t just be behind a screen; you will be actively engaged in the assembly, calibration, and testing of our systems, eventually supporting our technology as it moves to customer sites worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Execution: Support the translation of R&D data into PFDs and P&IDs, ensuring the engineering design reflects the core chemical process.
- Hands-on Assembly: Actively participate in the physical build of prototype units, including the installation of piping, reactors, and electrical components.
- Calibration & Setup: Responsible for the precise calibration of sensors and instrumentation, and the initial setup of control software and frequency converters.
- International Support: Provide essential on-site support during overseas deployments, assisting with unit commissioning and operator training.
- Testing: Execute rigorous testing protocols on prototypes to validate software stability and control loop performance.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in process engineering or a multidisciplinary R&D environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in instrumentation, basic control software, and a strong mechanical aptitude for system assembly.
- Mindset: Willingness to travel internationally and a passion for working “in the field” as much as in the office
